Cookie Policy
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, and that the browser sends back to that site or to the company that created the cookie on later visits. This page explains which cookies you will meet on 11zon.cc, why they exist, and how to get rid of them. It covers the consent choice we keep on your device as well, because that choice is not stored in a cookie.
11zon is a free toolkit of 259 tools for PDF, image, Office and everyday file jobs. The tools run inside your browser, so the working part of the site needs no cookie at all. What you will find here is a short list: a security cookie or two from our infrastructure, and advertising cookies from Google. Nothing else. We have no accounts, no comments, no profiles and no newsletter, so there is no cookie holding a login state or a preference you set on one of the tools.
Cookies we set and cookies others set
Two groups appear on this site, and they behave very differently.
Strictly necessary cookies. The site sits behind Cloudflare, which sets cookies to tell real visitors apart from bots, to balance traffic across servers, and to keep the connection stable while you use a tool. These cookies carry no marketing value and they are not used to build a profile of you. They are always on, since the site cannot serve pages safely without them. Blocking them in your browser will usually break page loading or make a tool fail halfway.
Advertising cookies. 11zon is funded by advertising, and Google AdSense is one of our ad partners. The Google AdSense publisher id for this site is pub-8928122502589555. When advertising is allowed, Google and the third-party vendors in its ad network may set cookies such as __gads, __gpi, and Google advertising cookies of the IDE and NID class. Those cookies record things like which ads your browser has already seen, how often an ad has been shown, and which pages or sites you visited before arriving here. Google and its partners use them to choose ads, to cap how many times you see the same ad, and to measure whether an ad worked. We do not write these cookies ourselves, we cannot read their contents in any useful way, and we do not receive the browsing data they describe. What reaches us through AdSense is aggregate reporting: impressions, clicks and estimated earnings.
Analytics cookies. None are set. We have not installed Google Analytics or any other analytics product on this site, so no analytics cookie is created, and no visit is measured for us by a third-party analytics script. If that changes, we will say so here and the consent banner will ask you first.
Preference storage. When you answer the consent banner, we save your answer in localStorage under the key z11_consent_v1. That record says which categories you allowed, when you decided, and which version of the banner you saw. It exists so the banner does not ask you again on every page. It stays on your device, and you can delete it at any time.
Cookie categories at a glance
| Category | Set by | Example names | What it does | Status |

| Advertising | Google and third-party ad vendors | __gads, __gpi, IDE, NID |
Ad selection, frequency capping, ad measurement, and recognising repeat visits to this and other sites | Off until you allow it |
| Analytics | Nobody | None | Measurement of page views or visitor behaviour | Not in use |
| Preferences | 11zon, stored in localStorage | z11_consent_v1 |
Remembers your cookie choice so the banner stays quiet | Set only after you choose |
Cookies and localStorage: what the difference means for you
Both are places where a site can keep a small amount of text on your machine. That is where the similarity ends.
A cookie travels. Your browser attaches it to requests for 11zon.cc and for the domains that set it, which is exactly why cookies suit advertising and security: Google’s servers can read their own cookie when an ad loads. A cookie also has an expiry date, and a size limit of roughly 4 KB.
localStorage does not travel. It is a key-value store inside your browser, and a script running on a page of this site can read it only while you are on this site. It is never sent with a page request, and Google cannot see it. It also never expires on its own. The z11_consent_v1 entry sits there until you clear site data or change your choice. Your consent record therefore stays on your device and is not visible to our servers or to advertisers.
How to change or withdraw your consent
You are never locked into an answer.
- Cookie settings button. Every page carries the button. Open it, switch advertising on or off, and save. Your new answer replaces
z11_consent_v1immediately, and future ad cookies follow it. Refusing advertising does not remove ads from the site. It means the ads you see are not personalised through those cookies. - Browser controls. Every major browser lets you view, block and delete cookies, and clear localStorage, usually under Settings, then Privacy and security, then Site data. Deleting everything for 11zon.cc also deletes your stored consent choice, so the banner will appear again on your next visit and no advertising cookie will be set until you answer it.
- Google Ads Settings. Visit https://adssettings.google.com to turn off personalised advertising tied to your Google account or browser. Google’s own advertising cookie policy lives alongside it.
- Industry opt-out tools. https://www.aboutads.info/choices/ covers many US advertising vendors, and https://www.youronlinechoices.com/ does the same job for European visitors. Both let you switch off interest-based advertising from participating companies.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Browsers can send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal with your requests. Neither signal changes what this site sets, and the reason is simple: advertising cookies already sit at denied until you actively allow them through the banner. There is nothing extra to switch off for a visitor who never opts in. If you allow advertising and later send a GPC signal, use the Cookie settings button or one of the opt-out links above, because we rely on the consent record rather than on the signal itself.
How long cookies last
Session cookies disappear when you close the browser. Persistent cookies stay until their expiry date, and the expiry is chosen by whoever created them: Cloudflare’s security cookies run for a short window, while Google’s advertising cookies can last from a day to a couple of years. Your localStorage consent record has no expiry at all. It stays until you change your choice or clear site data, and note that clearing browser cookies alone may leave localStorage in place, so check site data settings if you want both gone.
Questions about cookies
Write to [email protected] and we will answer. We cannot look up your cookie record for you, because the site has no browser-based processing, no account system and no way to identify an individual visitor. Everything described on this page lives in your own browser.
This policy covers 11zon.cc only. Google and other ad vendors run their own privacy and cookie policies, and those govern what they do with data they collect through their cookies.
